School Of Continuing Education

The School Of Continuing Education was established to impart higher education through the distance mode with multi-media approach. As non-formal, supplementary mode of education, distance education differs from the conventional formal system in the objective to reach the unreached, to include the excluded.

AVV has consistently promoted Distance Education on approved guidelines to cater to the needs of :

1. Students who discontinued their formal education owing to pecuniary and other circumstances.
2. Students living in geographically remote areas.
3. Students who discontinued their education because of lack of aptitude and motivation but later on became motivated.
4. In-service persons, housewives, etc. At present, there are thousands of students studying under this school which is by itself indicative of the popularity and reliability of the School of Continuing education under the Faculty of Liberal Education.
